The Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association has chosen three accomplished Maryland graduate students to receive $1000 scholarships in 2011. The graduate students will be recognized in the Opening Session of MSHA's Annual Convention on April 1, 2011.
Eligible applicants were required to have a 4.0 grade point average and had to submit an essay, resume and recommendation letters that demonstrated initiative and a spirit of volunteerism. Scholarship recipients receive $1000 toward their educations, honorary membership in MSHA for one year and registration for the convention. In the upcoming year, the scholarship students will also provide 10 hours of volunteer service to MSHA.
Congratulations to the 2011 recipients of the MSHA Graduate Scholarships!
